Our artists turn contradiction into sound. RUBY ROT captures the fractured pulse of America today — beauty burning under pressure. LIZA HAZE writes about the digital collapse we’re already living in. SANDRE, our flamboyant French fire, brings chaos and desire back to the surface. SOREYNN shifts between French and English like a signal cutting through static — proof that language, like identity, is fluid.
Velours noise was born somewhere between fascination and resistance.
We use technology, but we don’t trust it. We build with it, and then we break it, to see what’s left of the human voice underneath the noise.
Velours noise is not about genre. It’s about contrast — analog and digital, softness and distortion, elegance and rage. We believe life’s still a game, and creation is the only rule left worth breaking.
